David Warburton, prospective MP for Somerton and Frome, has launched “Warburton Works” - a new initiative which offers people the chance to get to know their next MP in the context of their regular working day. 

Blackmore & Sparkford Vale Point to Point

Was out with the whole family today meeting lots of farmers and others at the Blackmore & Sparkford Vale Point to Point at Charlton Horethorne. It was freezing: windy, raining and eventually snowing. Kids happy on the enclosed bouncy castle, Harriet sheltering and shivering in every tent.

Happy Landings Animal Shelter

If you can spare it, pls help me raise money for Happy Landings Animal Shelter! Diesel and I will be walking 10 miles if my boots can take it. Diesel is very familiar with Happy Landings, who look after him fabulously every few months. At the Mid-Somerset Show last year he went crazy with delight when he recognised one of the people who look after him there. So they're obviously doing it right.

David Warburton selected as Conservative candidate for Somerton and Frome

Somerton and Frome Conservatives have selected David Warburton as their Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for the 2015 General Election. David, 47, is married to Harriet with whom he has two young children: James and Cecily. A musician by training, David has had a varied career and was a teacher before creating his own successful music and software company.
