Many constituents have been in touch with regards to the WASPI campaign due to the latest developments following the PHSO's recent publication of the findings from its investigation of complaints about maladministration within the Department of Work and Pensions. I really appreciate that so many constituents took the time to contact me about this important issue and of course, have great sympathy with their cause.
This cause is very important to me and I have been following the WASPI campaign from the onset. As a member of the All-Party Parliamentary Group set up to champion the WASPI cause, I remain dedicated to this important issue and continue to offer my support to all those affected.
To that end, I have written to the Work and Pensions Secretary to ask what the next steps are with regards to the latest PHSO findings, and what measures the Department is planning to introduce to help all those affected - you can see my letter below:
