Thank you to the dozens of people who joined me at the Davis Hall in West Camel to talk about Options 1 & 2 for the route of the A303 through the area. Some very strong opinions and very clear issues were raised. I've quite a shopping list now for HIghways England.

Very much enjoyed talking to business owners in Langport about the business outlook and opportunities - specifically for tourism in the South West and our part of Somerset.

Martock's black tie dinner

As ever, great to visit the Martock Branch of the Somerton & Frome Cons Association, who put on a grand show - full black tie dinner with the superb Neil Parish MP as guest. Once again the branch organised a really entertaining evening, other than the bit where I spoke.

Exploring Broadband options for Pen Selwood

In Pen Selwood, near Wincanton, to talk about... yep, broadband. That ongoing issue for so many rural villages. We were joined again by CDS (Connecting Devon and Somerset) and BT, and we explored the options. I think we have a way forward, but we're going to need to meet again soon.
